RadioCITY 2021 AGM:
If you attended the 2021 AGM, you will surely remember me asking for someone to comment on the Globe and Mail article exposing a court case in which ICC was accused of fraud by an neighbouring Condo.
You may also remember that Rachel Leith from ICC prevented James Weber from responding and responded with a prepared and scripted answer.
As an owner, you may be aware that the AGM meeting minutes have not been made available yet. However, we pay thousands of dollars to have GetQuorum video-record the entire AGM, and for Gil Lavalley to take meeting minutes as per the video, as the official “Recording Secretary”.
As a board member, I have seen the first draft of the AGM meeting minutes. My question about this fraud case and Rachel Leith’s response have been omitted.
I have asked for Gil Lavalley’s contact info from the board and from ICC Managment, so I can understand if Gil Lavalley simply made a mistake by omitting a question about $900,000 in alleged fraud by our management company, or whether he was asked to do so explicitly by a board member or ICC staff member. Both the other board members and ICC refused to give me Gil’s contact info.
As an owner, you would not be aware of this omission until the meeting minutes were officially published as part of next year’s AGM package in a year’s time.
A sample of gas-lighting and stonewalling by a certain board member, saying that removing reference to this fraud by the minute taker was “drama” and causing “costs for the Corporation”.
Randy – why all the drama ? It was a long weekend….everyone and everything was closed. Chill my friend.
I have been thinking about your request and think we should discuss at the Board meeting on Thursday — I have never seen a Director contact our Minute taker directly. That is PM’s function and I think we all need a better understanding of your mission & objectives prior to running up the meter/ costs for the Corporation.
